We are at a critically important moment for media, technology and business. As someone who works in media, your insights are valuable. This survey will help those within media better understand how their colleagues are thinking about the future. This is your opportunity to help shape conversations about the future of media and technology.
This second, annual international survey is being conducted by the Future Today Institute to better understand how those working within media and journalism think about the future. We hope to learn how frequently journalists and those within media leadership positions think 5, 10, 20, 30+ years into the future––and how often they engage futures thinking. We also hope to learn how directly futures thinking correlates with the current business models, newsroom projects, media innovation, investments in talent and cross-industry partnerships.
Results will be published in September at the Online News Association conference and all of our findings and analysis will be made freely available for everyone to read/ use/ analyze.
We invite you to take our annual global survey on media futures. The survey should take approx. 20 minutes to complete and can be found at the link below. We thank you in advance for your participation!
