Alexa is about to sound a lot more human.
Alexa is about to sound a lot more human.
In 2019, Amazon announced some upgrades to the famed digital assistant, giving her emotions like excitement and disappointment.
For the time being, Alexa will respond in a low, disappointed tone when you answer a question incorrectly, but she’ll perk up and sound excited if you win a game, for example.
Soon, Alexa’s more humanlike expression will be responsive. If you sound sad, she’ll empathize. If you’re stoked about a great day at work, she’ll match your level of happiness.
