Whit is a Foresight Fellow specializing in the future of education, immersive learning, carbon reduction & resilience. He brings additional expertise in international security, technical product management, and the ethics of artificial intelligence. He is currently a foresight consultant for the United Nations Development Project and has held research fellowships with the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, the Center for Science and Imagination at Arizona State University, and the Frederick S Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future. As a foresight practitioner, Whit is passionate about exploring new approaches and applications for alternative scenarios to cutting-edge strategic challenges. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Colorado College, an M.A. in Philosophy of Science from Boston University, and a certificate in Scenario Building from the Institute for the Future. Whit enjoys mountain running, blues rock, and libraries in his spare time.
