Christina von Messling is Head of Europe and Senior Foresight Manager at the Future Today Institute. Prior to joining FTI, she worked as an innovation consultant at TLGG, an Omnicom Agency, where she led the digital transformation of Fortune 50 companies. She is also a creative director and published photographer working for global consumer brands and publications.
Having split her time between Europe, the US, and Brazil, she combines a global perspective with in-depth, holistic knowledge of some of the main drivers of change: technology, the creative industries, as well as societal developments.
Christina’s past roles include VP of Social Media at a New York technology start-up, where she was the first employee and created and led the global communications department, as well as creative director for advertising, creating work for such brands as Shiseido, Siemens, and JC Penney. She is also a coach in the strategic foresight class at New York University’s Stern School of Business. Christina has a Masters in Law from the Freie Universität Berlin, where she graduated within the top ten percent of the country, and has a certificate from Ideo in design thinking foundations. She splits her time between London, Berlin and New York City.
